  • What is Paint Correction?

Paint Correction is a process of removing defects in the clear coat and improving the image, clarity, gloss, and reflection of your car's paint!

Defects such a swirls, scratches, acid rain, water spots, bird droppings, bug marks, tree sap, road tar, and road salt can all cause a vehicle's paint to look aged well before it's time!  These imperfections are not recommended to remove as a DIY and should be performed by a highly skilled and trained detailing technician.  Otherwise, you risk a chance of creating too much heat, burnging through your paint, and costing you a new paint job.

  • How much should paint correction cost?

The cost of paint correction can vary widely depending on several factors, including the size of the vehicle, the extent of the paint defects, and the type of correction needed. On average, you can expect to pay:

Basic paint correction: $200 to $400 (for minor imperfections, paint enhancement)

Mid-level correction: $400 to $700 (for moderate swirls, scratches and deeper imperfections).

High-end correction: $700 to $1,500 or more (for extensive damage, deep swirls, and scratches) This requires a multiple stage approach of heavy cutting, polishing and possilby wet sanding)

  • How can a ceramic coating help my car?

Ceramic coatings provide your car with an exceptional glossy shine and a long-lasting protective barrier preventing bugs, bird droppings, and other harmful contaminants from damaging your car's  clear coat.  Designed to last for years and make maintenance washes an absolute breeze.

  • Can ceramic coating damage paint?

No.  When propertly prepared and installed by a certified installer, ceramic coatings will not  damage your car's paint.  In fact, thie entire mission for a commercial-grade ceramic coating is to protect your car's paint from environmental contaminants that could otherwise cause damage.

  • Will ceramic coating remove scratches?

Ceramic coatings are designed to protect your vehicle's paint and resist scratches, but they will NOT remove existing scratches.
If your vehicle has existing swirls or scratches of concern, we'd recommend our professional paint correction services.   By doing this step first, you'll elminate the risk of seeing swirls and scratches through your new ceramic coating.

  • How long does ceramic coating last?

Ceramic coatings can last anywhere from 2 to 10 years, depending on various factors such as the quality of the product used, application method, environmental conditions, and maintenance. Higher-quality coatings, when properly applied and maintained, tend to provide longer-lasting protection. To maximize the lifespan of a ceramic coating, it is important to follow proper care routines, including regular washing and periodic maintenance treatments

  • Will paint protection film damage my car?

Paint protection film (PPF) is generally safe for your car's paint and is designed to protect it from chips, scratches, and other damage. When correctly installed by professionals, it should not damage the paint.

Here are a few points to consider:

Quality of Film: Higher-quality films are designed to adhere safely and come off without damaging the paint.

Professional Installation: It's best to have PPF installed by trained professionals to ensure proper application and minimize any risk of damage.

Paint Condition: If your car's paint is already in poor condition (e.g., peeling, fading), applying PPF may not be advisable, as it could exacerbate existing issues.

Removal Process: If you decide to remove the film later, it's important to follow proper techniques to avoid damaging the paint underneath.
